TPO, or Time Price Opportunity, is a time-and-price analytical framework historically associated with J. Peter Steidlmayer's work at the Chicago Board of Trade in the 1980s. Auctralytix is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the Chicago Board of Trade, CME Group, J. Peter Steidlmayer or any related organisation.
Q: What if I'm a beginner trader?
Auctralytix explains the analytical framework behind every output — it's a learning tool as much as an analytical tool.
Q: Is my data private?
Yes. We store the minimum required: email, encrypted password, preferences, and your analysis history. We never broker API keys, or your real-world trading data.
Q: Where does Auctralytix get its market data?
We use a single professional-grade market data vendor — Twelve Data — across all asset classes (Crypto, Forex, Commodities, ETFs and US Equities).
Q: Does Auctralytix support futures contracts (ES, NQ, CL, GC, etc.)?
Not in our current tier. CME futures data licensing is currently outside the cost structure for MVP pricing. We focus on cash markets — Crypto, Forex, Commodities, ETFs and US Equities — using auction theory applied to regional cash session timing. Futures support may be added in a future Premium+ tier if there is sufficient demand.
